SELECTION FORMAT

Montenegrin broadcaster announced in November that it wants to participate Eurovision Song Contest after two years of silence. A few weeks later, Rambo Amadeus was confirmed to be the representative with his self composed entry. His song "Euro Neuro" was presented in a televised special show on March 15th.

RAMBO AMADEUS

Rambo Amadeus (Antonije Pušić) was born in Kotor, 1963. He is one of the most prominent cult figures on the ex-Yugoslav music scene, as his website says. Amadeus graduated from the University of Belgrade's Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences. He has also studied in a music school for a few years. Before his music career he was a succesful sailor in several competitons.

His music career started in late 1980's when he released his first album, O tugo jesenja. 20 years later, in 2008, he released his 10th and latest album. "Euro Neuro" is composed by Rambo Amadeus himself and it was recorded in Ljubljana.

MY PREDICTION

Although many say that you either hate this or love this, I must disagree. I definitely don't hate this but I can't love it either. The chorus is almost too catchy (!) and this whole thing is too strange to get enough votes for the final. My prediction; 16th-18th in the semifinal.
