ANGGUN - ECHO (YOU AND I)
Text: Anggun, William Rousseau
Music: Jean-Pierre Pilot
SELECTION FORMAT
In November 2011, the French Eurovision broadcaster confirmed that they will made an internal selection. Only a week later, they announced Anggun, this Indonesian R&B singer/songwriter as their representative. Also the song for her was chosen internally and Anggun choosed "Echo (You And I)" for the song contest.
ANGGUN
Anggun's, 37, music career has been internationally succesful. Born in Indonesia and taken French nationality 15 years ago, she is the world’s most-played French-language singer. Her number one hit, Snow On The Sahara, was a huge hit in 33 countries. It even made the US Top 20 and her album sold 1,5 million copies. To date, she has released five albums, all in both French and English. Her latest studio album, Echoes, was released in 2011 and was recently re-relased including her Eurovision entry.

MY PREDICTION
As much as I love Anggun and her voice, her Eurovision entry is totally wrong for her. I'm just getting confused when listening to Echo (You And I) and can't decide whether it's good or horrible. If this wasn't directly in the final, I believe this would have stayed in the semifinal. My prediction; 20th-24th in the final.
